Press release International visitors at the 2023 Open Days

Factory tours, motorhomes on display, partner companies and a musical evening program attracted numerous guests to Polch over the weekend.

Polch, November 21, 2023 – The time had come once again on November 4 and 5, 2023: Niesmann+Bischoff opened its factory doors to all motorhome enthusiasts and interested visitors. During two entertaining days, our guests from Germany, the UK, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Spain were able to take a look at our production hall and became acquainted with the latest models and other exhibitors in the industry.

A large number of motorhome owners accepted the open invitation to Polch and set up camp around the company premises for the entire weekend. The event also attracted numerous day trippers, including employees and their families.

One of the most popular attractions over the weekend were the factory tours, which were not only held in German, but also in four additional languages.  From chassis processing to the company’s own sandwich panel construction and furniture manufacturing with brand new CNC machines – each individual stage of the production process was shown and described in detail. Interested visitors were also able to see the recently completed solar park for the first time during the site tour as well as the new logistics centre that was built last year due to the increasing production volume.

Another visitor highlight were the popular models that were on display in the showroom. In addition to the recently presented Flair 880 and 920, guests also showed a keen interest in the extremely popular iSmove models. The service centre offered the opportunity to receive technical advice and to ask questions right next to the iSmove and Flair. There were also several exhibitors distributed around the site. The customer club, suppliers and collaboration partners, including tour operators and camping sites, made use of the weekend to talk with many guests. The youngest visitors also enjoyed all kinds of entertainment and played the day away with games and face painting. Those who were interested in jobs and vocational training received interesting and relevant information at the booth from the HR department.

The celebratory culmination of Saturday evening was provided by the band “Münchner Zwietracht”, who took to the stage to ensure a festive atmosphere in the packed marquee. The team from Kichererbse in Polch took care of food and drink for all of the guests and employees throughout the event.

As a whole, the open days turned out to be a fantastic and multifaceted weekend, and Niesmann+Bischoff can hardly wait to launch the next round of events in the year ahead. So for those who are interested, make sure to save the date for the second weekend in November (November 9 and 10, 2024) in your appointment calendar.
