Press release Open Days at the factory 2022

Numerous visitors on the open days 2022

Guided factory tours, motorhomes on display, exhibiting partners and musical evening program attracted many visitors to Polch over the weekend.

Polch, 14th November 2022 – On the 5th and 6th of November, the time had finally come. After a long, pandemic related break of two years, we were finally able to once again open the doors of our factory to all motorhome friends and interested people. During two exciting days, our guests from Germany, Great Britain, France, Belgium and the Netherlands were able to have a peek inside our factory hall and at the same time to discover our successful models as well as some exhibitors from the industry.

About three hundred campers accepted our open invitation to Polch and set up camp around the company grounds for the entire weekend. At the same time, we were pleased to welcome numerous day visitors travelling by car, including many employees with their families.

One of the biggest attractions over the past weekend were our guided factory tours, which we were able to not only offer in German, but also in four different foreign languages. Curiosity and interest were high and the half-hourly tours filled up quickly. In addition to the tour of the factory hall, we were also able to present for the first time our new logistics center and the planned construction of our solar park, which will enable us to feed in up to 65 percent of our annual electricity consumption in the future.

Another crowd puller were our successful models presented in the exhibition hall. In addition to the recently introduced Flair 920, the guests also briskly explored our iSmove model, which has become a bestseller in the last two years. There were also a number of exhibitors spread throughout the company grounds. Our customer clubs, suppliers and cooperation partners, including tour operators and campsites, were able to get in contact with the numerous guests and could draw a positive conclusion at the end of the open days. The smallest guests also received varied entertainment and spent an exciting day with puzzle games and face painting. Those interested in jobs and apprenticeship were given exciting and relevant information at the exhibition stand of our HR department.

The solemn highlight on Saturday evening was the performance of the band “Münchner Zwietracht” on the stage in the marquee. It was the band’s first time playing at our home event and the group contributed to an atmospheric evening in front of a great audience. In addition, the catering team “Kichererbse” offered food and drinks all weekend long, hence taking care of our guests as well as employees.

Overall, our open days were a great and varied weekend, which is why we are already so excited to enter a new round of our home event next year.
